ARTS DISTRICT: SCI-Arc has a new location for its fab Art Supply Store--it's moved to Santa Fe and Third (across from the north end of their building) into a space designed by a team of faculty members. MACARTHUR PARK: Earlier this week, a new transit-oriented development was born with the opening of the affordable MacArthur Park Apartments practically on top of the Red/Purple Line stop. The project at Bonnie Brae and Seventh Street was designed by Torti Gallas and Partners with Roschen Van Cleve Architects and has 90 affordable units, 17,000 square feet of retail, and 230 parking spaces.
