Could This 1920s Mediterranean in Ktown Be Another "Grey Gardens" Success Story?

New, 20 comments

While there's no denying that this 1923 Mediterranean in Wilshire Park is pretty tore-up-from-the-floor-up, we can't help but feel that the old gal has plenty of life left in her yet. Dilapidated as it is, the three-bedroom, three-bath residence still doesn't look quite as wretched as the Los Feliz listing known around these parts as "Grey Gardens" did before it got restored (and flipped for a tidy $650k profit). Per the description, the 3,210 square foot property sits on a .27 acre corner lot and features hardwood floors, a fireplace in the living room, French doors, vintage tile, and a detached garage. Last sold in 2010 at a foreclosure auction for $880,000, it's now priced at a mere $599,900.
