The fundraising campaign for an LGBT museum in LA kicks off tonight at a benefit performance at West Hollywood's Macha Theater, the LA Weekly reports. The effort is led by gay rights activist Ivy Bottini and Andy Sacher, who created interactive exhibits at museums including the California Academy of Science. No word on where the museum would be located (WeHo? Silver Lake?) but Sacher says, "We're going to create an emotionally immersive and engaging journey through LGBTQ cultures... this will be done using the latest in interactive technology and display techniques."
