The case of "where in Los Angeles does City Councilmember Richard Alarcon live?" has been dismissed--the judge said that "the prosecution failed to present evidence to the grand jury that undercut its case." Alarcon and his wife are accused of falsely listing their address as a house in Panorama City, but actually living in Sun Valley (meanwhile he's already moved on from both to a place in Mission Hills that would allow him to run for the 39th Assembly District). The prosecution had argued that water usage at the Panorama City house was so low, it would have accounted for just two toilet flushes in 24 hours. [LAT]
