Vying to be most-hated city in the country, Beverly Hills has filed a second lawsuit against the Purple Line extension, the Beverly Hills Patch reports. This suit, from city officials, comes a day after BH's school district sued to prevent the subway from tunneling under Beverly Hills High School to reach a central station in the heart of Century City. While BHUSD's lawsuit focuses on the tunnel under BHHS, the city of Beverly Hills's lawsuit takes umbrage with any part of the project that comes near BH, and they've previously even complained about the La Cienega station that abuts the city and is supposed to be the terminus of the extension's first phase.
