Today's the last day of "Play Me, I'm Yours," the public art project that put 30 decorated pianos all over LA and invited the public to come play. The project was created by artist Luke Jerram (who's staged it all over the world) and sponsored in Los Angeles by the LA Chamber Orchestra, who kicked things off last month with a simultaneous performance from Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 1. As you can see from these photos, people from El Pueblo to UCLA really embraced the pianos, which kind of makes us wish someone would leave an orchestra's worth of instruments lying around sometime, just to see what happens. More on the project and all the pianos here.
