The parents of two Chinese USC students shot to death in a car last month are suing the university, reports the ABA Journal. While Ming Qu and Ying Wu were murdered off of campus, the parents are claiming USC misrepresented both the neighborhood surrounding the school and the security there. The suit also takes umbrage with the fact that USC's website describes the area surrounding the campus as "an urban oasis of courtyards and parks." The word "urban" implies safety in Chinese, and USC knows that, the parents claim. [ABA Journal]
