Where to Park It: Arcadia's Gold Line

New, 11 comments

The Arcadia City Council would like its 800 parking spaces, and it would like them now, according to the Pasadena Star-News. The council voted unanimously to recommend that the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority change a "a request for proposals for the design and construction of a 300-parking space, two-level parking structure in the city," saying Arcadia will need 800 spaces by the time the line reaches its Montclair terminus in 2025. The Construction Authority's current plans are to build 300 spaces in a facility that can be expanded further down the road. [PSN]
