Updated 9:30 pm: This little guy on Santa Monica's Navy Street, just past the PCH, is only 712 square feet. It was designed by architects Joel Blank and Susie Tashiro and has been featured in Dwell (natch). The one-bedroom, one-bathroom comes with "striking floor to ceiling glass walls and skylights," and the listing reassures that "A unique transparency between indoors and out has endowed this little house with remarkable perception of greater volume" (translation: feels bigger than it is). Rather incredibly, it last sold in 2007 for $849,000 (Santa Monica! A real estate bubble!). Today it's asking $699,000.
