The Southwest Museum of the American Indian is reopening! Its lobby. The Highland Park-Mt. Wash Patch reports: "the museum's lobby will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday's starting on May 19. [Yadhira De Leon, spokesperson for the Autry National Center, which operates the Southwest Museum] said there would be some small pieces of the collection on display..." The grounds and gardens will also be open to visitors. The Autry closed the museum after taking it over in 2002. [HP-MWP]
