Well, well, looks like the divine Diane Keaton, who's known for her fine taste in architecture and devotion to preservation, has picked up one of the units in the Arts District's 940 East 2nd Street as an income property. These are the condos formerly known as the Barn Lofts--the project is an adaptive reuse of a 1906 warehouse that once housed sugar beets. According to the LA Times, Keaton paid $570,000 for her unit; it appears to have sold just a few weeks ago. It's three stories and has two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a rooftop terrace. Keaton's now renting the place out for $2,800 a month.
