Swift Sales For Manhattan Beach Bidding War House, Silver Lake's Edgecliffe Terrace Homes

MANHATTAN BEACH: Remember that 1,400 square foot house in Manhattan Beach that was asking $1.1 million and had reportedly received 20 offers? No surprise, it sold lickety split, hitting escrow in a week and closing 15 days later. Final sale price: $1.352 million or $970 per square foot. And it's not even close to the beach! [Redfin]

SILVER LAKE: Now to more lickety split sales, this time at some brand new houses all the way on the other side of the county. The Edgecliffe Terrace Homes, those four single family houses built under the city's Small Lot Subdivision Ordinance, all went into escrow within a month, according to Matthew Foss of developer/designers Green City Building Company. Three of the houses have already seen move-ins; the fourth is set to close this week. If you want to get one last look around the houses, they'll be included on a project tour during the American Planning Association conference this month. [Curbed Inbox]
