The Barlow Respiratory Hospital in Echo Park, a creepy/beautiful 20 acre campus where the owners have long planned to build 888 housing units, about 15,000 square feet of commercial space, and a new medical facility, has been put up for sale for the second time in six years, reports Eastsider LA. Just last week, the owners released an environmental impact report for their development--they're asking for the city to rezone the land and to allow them to demolish several of the existing landmarked buildings.
