10 Supercool SoCal Modern LEGO Houses

New, 4 comments

Recently, Dwell mag and Pacific Standard Time (the mega mid-century SoCal art extravaganza) held a genius contest looking for LEGO houses inspired by Southern California's fine stock of mid-century architecture. They took submissions through March and opened voting to the public through the first couple weeks of April. Five finalists will be announced at the Dwell on Design conference in June and one big winner will be selected by a panel of experts (prizes include cash, an "Ice Cube Celebrates the Eames" poster, a bunch of LEGO Architecture sets). In the meantime, we picked out 10 of our favorites. And if all these aren't fun enough, rumor is that LEGO is coming out with a set for the Eames House in Pacific Palisades.
