Get Inside Rare Greene & Greenes, Walking For Neutra

PASADENA: Sunday's your very rare chance to get inside and check out six interiors designed by Craftsman kings Greene & Greene. All the houses on the Arroyo's Edge tour are in Pasadena's Park Place neighborhood, are privately-owned, and were designed between 1902 and 1915--they include the Duncan-Irwin House, the Mary Ranney House, the FW Hawks House, the Van Rossem-Neil House, the Louise T. Halstead House, and the James Culbertson Garden. The tour is a benefit for the G&G-designed Gamble House; get your tickets here. [Curbed Inbox]

SILVER LAKE: Moving to a master of another architectural style altogether, Richard Neutra's 120th birthday would have been this Sunday and to celebrate the Neutra Institute wants to start a new Silver Lake tradition (the architect worked in the neighborhood, and many of his most notable works are there)--they're holding a 4k/8k run/walk around the SL Reservoir starting at the Neutra VDL Research House (on the lake's east side). The VDL House will also be open for viewing all day on Sunday. All the info's here. [Curbed Inbox]
