Eastern Gateway For Thai Town, Affordable in Boyle Heights

New, 2 comments

THAI TOWN: For years now, a set of Asponsi (half-woman, half-lion) statues have looked down on the western entrance to Thai Town, at Hollywood and Western. Finally last week ground break on the neighborhood's eastern gateway, which will bring two statues and three commemorative plaques to the area around Hollywood and Hobart. The project was developed by the Thai Community Development Center. [Curbed Inbox]
