Serial mid-century modern collector Michael LaFetra first listed his How House, designed by Rudolph Schindler and with a garden by Richard Neutra, back in September 2008, asking $4.995 million. Since then, the Silver Lake gem has been price chopped and price chopped, and at the latest bloodbath in January, we said we refused to see any more. Clearly our calls were answered--the house has just sold for $1.3 million, according to Redfin. This is LaFetra's second sale this month; he also sold off an A. Quincy Jones design in Brentwood. Which is good luck for him, since he also picked up a fine Jones & Emmons in Beverly Hills for $6.625 million.
