The Groundlings Getting a Little Work Done, Noho 14 Sells

FAIRFAX: The famous Groundlings improv theatre on Melrose is getting an interior makeover (more on that soon) and they're raising money for the project with a benefit and silent auction tomorrow night. Performers include Jim Rash (the ridiculous Dean Pelton on Community and Oscar-winning screenwriter of The Descendants) and Joel McHale; items up for grabs include Saturday Night Live tickets, passes to the Pasadena Playhouse, iCarly dress rehearsal passes, and a Dean Pelton costume. And everyone who buys tickets will also get a ticket to a future show so they can see where their fundraising dollars are going. The new theater design will be unveiled on April 5. [Curbed Inbox]

NORTH HOLLYWOOD: Kennedy Wilson and its partners have sold off the 180 unit Noho 14 for $73.9 million to "a core fund managed by UBS." KW and company picked up the project in 2010 from Bank of America for $59 million. According to GlobeSt, the building is now fully leased up. [GlobeSt.com]
