Apparently someone at the ostensibly highbrow men's rag GQ turned off the superlative censor because the magazine's website is featuring a photo gallery paean to the shops on Venice's most famous commercial corridor, Abbot Kinney, going so far as to crown it "The Coolest Block in America." Our sister site Racked LA reports that it's part of GQ's Style Bible issue on newsstands right now. The online photo gallery, however, starts off with the following words likely to upset a significant population east of Vermont: "People who live in Venice are cooler than those of us who just visit."
