Poor Pasinetti House, always a short-term rental, never a sale. The Beverly Hills house, designed by Romanian architect Haralamb Georgescu, has been on and off the market since 2009. Developer Tim Braseth bought it in 2007 for $1.502 million, did a major restoration/renovation, then flipped it, asking $2.295 million. It's languished since then, occasionally attracting a high-profile renter like ex-MySpace co-president Jason Hirschhorn (rumored) and X Factor host Steve Jones, its most recent tenant. Jones has just lost his job and appears to be leaving town, as the house is once again up for sale and rent. The 1,872 square foot house was built in 1958 and is based on a series of 20 foot cubes; it has two bedrooms and one and three-quarter bathrooms. Asking price is $1.795 million. Rental price is $8,495 per month.
