Kiki de Montparnasse to Melrose Place, New Converse Flagship on the Promenade, Barneys Warehouse Sale Report

BEVERLY GROVE: Rumor has it that high-end lingerie boutique Kiki de Montparnasse is planning to move from its longtime location on Melrose Ave. It's new home? A storefront close by on Melrose Place.

SANTA MONICA: Converse has opened a West Coast flagship on the Third Street Promenade. Per Racked's write up, "The store spans 7,000 square feet and is filled with sneakers, clothes and accessories for men, women and children. According to a brand rep, it is the broadest assortment of Converse in the world."

DOWNTOWN: This weekend kicked off the Barneys Warehouse Sale, and Racked was on the scene to document the madness. Racked survived to report: "The doors opened at 9 am and the first wave of people ran in, grabbed oversize plastic bags from sale staff and stuffed them full of women's clothes, shoes and handbags. There was elbowing, shoving and general bad behavior. The bag section was obliterated almost immediately." If you didn't go the day-of, you missed out on the good stuff.
