Believe it or not, Glendale has views of things other than the 134 and car dealerships, and it would like to protect them. After a failed attempt a few years ago, the city is back trying to create a view ordinance "to keep new development from encroaching on existing sightlines." The city will have to decided what to do about buildings and trees, and whether it wants to protect specific views or all views (even the freeway ones?). [GNP, image via]
