Updated 12:49 pm: Yesterday we took a good look around a house on Inverness Ave. in Los Feliz, a beaut of a Spanish Colonial Revival house that was built in 1929 and renovated (very sensitively) in 2004. The house sits on nearly an acre and is fresh to market, asking $7.5 million. Steve Vaught of the excellent Paradise Leased blog was charmed enough to dig up a little more info, as well as 1930 photos that show just how good that recent renovation was. According to PL, the house was built for OR Fuller of the Auburn-Fuller car company, designed by Harry Hayden Whiteley, and originally decorated by George A. Sagar. Update: Aha, and thank you Real Estalker--this house belongs to actor David Hyde Pierce and sitcom writer/producer Brian Hargrove. They did the fabulous renovation after buying in 2003.
