Suspiciously Cheap One-Bedroom Apartment in 1930s Colonial Revival Complex in WeHo

New, 13 comments

Spotted today on the List of Craig, a posting for an apartment in West Hollywood that looks suspiciously like a good deal (or maybe just plain suspicious?). Per the ad, the available unit is a 1,200-square-foot one-bedroom on the ground floor of a "historic 1930's building on a quiet tree-lined street" that features "hardwood floors, crown molding, lovely vintage tile in the kitchen and bathroom, a separate tub and shower ... several large closets and storage areas ... bright and airy living area with many large windows, as well as a front and back door." There's also a "shared garage with one assigned parking space and laundry facilities in the building," all for just $1,345 per month. Sounds pretty sweet, but ominously, there are no interior photos, plus the posting notes a move-in cost of "$4,035.00 plus cleaning fee and key deposits." So, as always, caveat rentor!
