DOWNTOWN: The Figaro bistro on Vermont is a favorite for Los Feliz locals and a DTLA outpost has now soft-opened at an 18,000-square-foot, two-story space on Broadway. Aside from the French cuisine and a sizable bar, DTLA's Figaro features a patisserie.
HOLLYWOOD: Greg Morris, the guy behind La Cienega's recently-shuttered Spanish Kitchen, is bouncing back with The Thirsty Muse at Santa Monica Boulevard and Vine. The concept will occupy the former Burgundy House, which has already been repainted.
LAX: Eater's Airport Dining Guide is a God-send. Did you know there's a Lemonade in the Delta terminal? Also check out Nate 'n Al and Skewers by Morimoto.
LOS ANGELES: Most of us know how lovely LA is for Christmas: mostly-empty and mostly-warm (compared to much of the rest of the country). If you find yourself here and need dining ideas, Eater's got you covered.
