Known as the Hailey Residence, this compact mid-century modern in the hills northwest of the Hollywood Reservoir was designed by the brilliant Richard Neutra in 1959. A two-bedroom, two-bath property, per tax rolls, it features beamed ceilings, built-ins, a wood-burning fireplace, sliding glass walls, "a soft mobile wall [that] when open, allows for a generous den off the living-dining area ... a small office, control temp wine cellar & laundry constructed within lower undeveloped space." Sited on a 5,616 square foot lot, the property, which last sold in 1996 for $275,000, is now asking $895,000.
