For more than 25 years, the Angeles National Forest's headquarters were in a cluster of "temporary" trailers, but now they've finally moved to "a stunning and environmentally-efficient 24,000 square-foot administrative facility at 701 N. Santa Anita Ave." in Arcadia. The new HQ has a redwood exterior, exposed redwood beams solar panels, a dry creek, and a rainwater retention pond, all paid for by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. [PSN, image via]
