Third Street Special: AOC Moving, New Bakery, Best of Third

New, 1 comment

BEVERLY GROVE: Eater is full of Third Street news lately, including the heads up that Suzanne Goin's legendary AOC is moving down the street into the Il Covo space, which restaurant closes at the end of the year. AOC 2.0 will feature a wood-burning oven and a "market-driven bar program." Lunch and brunch service, too.

BEVERLY GROVE: Just outside of Cedars Sinai, Tartine 'o' Chocolate is set to replace the recently-shuttered Beyond Bread Bakery & Cafe. Owner and restaurateur Thomas Sandi is planning a December 12 opening, with chocolates (obviously), croissants, pastries, and salads on the menu.

BEVERLY GROVE: Since Third Street is to LA dining today what La Cienega was in the nineties, Eater created a handy guide to the best of Third. There's Joan's on Third, Gusto, Little Door, and Son of a Gun, to name a few.
