The New York Times reveals that Robert Greene, author of The 48 Laws of Power (beloved by rappers and CEOs), doesn't live in some Scarface mansion, but in a Spanish bungalow in Los Feliz that's decked out in Heywood-Wakefield and fake fossils. He says his office "was modeled on Sigmund Freud's in Vienna, with the same daybed and furniture configuration, though it is smaller in scale and more midcentury in feeling." Why? "To me, my house is always recreating what I lost in youth." [NYT]
