Uh oh, things sound desperate for this Ventura house designed by the ever-underrated Carl Maston: "Price Reduced! Trustee says SELL!!" The house looks to have lovely bones and it sits on 11.34 acres of hillside (10 acres planted with avocados!), but it's been sitting on the market since September 2010, when it was asking $2.475 million. It comes with three bedrooms, three and three-quarter bathrooms, a "workout room/den with wet sauna," a guesthouse, and a seasonal creek. Unfortunately, it "was renovated in 1998," but that seems pretty fixable. Latest asking price is $1.999995 million.
