There's been some tiny upward movement for Los Angeles home prices, according to September's Case-Shiller index: "From August to September, prices in L.A. moved up 1 percent, which was slightly worse than August's 1.3 percent" (prices went up 3 percent across the cities covered by the index). Still, prices were up 4 percent over September 2011. Conclusion: the fall doldrums could be good for the little pricing bubble seen of late in certain SoCal areas. [SCPR/S&P]
