This Short Week's Top Stories: There was a spirited discussion this week about the value of a Better Shelter flip in Hollywood. The number of registered voters for the vote on the new Downtown streetcar tax is way up, which could be a good sign for its passage. The Pasadena City Council has given the thumbs up to the NFL using the Rose Bowl as a temporary home while permanent stadium is built Downtown (maybe). Those old time kitschy nativity scenes that we knew growing up will be stricken from Palisades Park in Santa Monica thanks to those killjoy atheists. Listing Alert! Bob Hope's Lautner designed Palm Springs home is readying for a January entry to the open market for $45 million dollars. Rounding out our short week, Curbed went inside Ray Kappe's classic self-designed residence in Rustic Canyon and toured five designer inspired units in the Beverly West condo tower. Happy Thanksgiving weekend!
