Architect Donald P. Polsky is known for helping to spread California modernism across the midwest, but he also did quite a bit of interesting work in Southern California, particularly working for the great Richard Neutra. This 1961 house of his in Beverly Crest is hardly in pristine out-of-the-box condition, but maintains a little of the glassy, open-floorplan stuff that Neutra and the like did so well. The house has three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, walnut and slate floors, and a pool/spa/deck. Asking price is $2.499 million.
