LA BREA: Steven Alan is opening another LA shop, to be located on the newly hot block of La Brea between First and Second. It will be Alan's third store in LA (not counting his outlet-esque Outpost in Los Feliz) and should be ready within the week.
THE INTERNET: Like many other e-shops, American Apparel decided to offer a Hurricane Sandy discount, giving shoppers in states directly affected by the storm 20 percent off. The move was panned on Twitter with commenters calling it "the lowest of the low" and threatening to boycott.
MELROSE: The opening party for Rag & Bone's first LA store was a big event, drawing most of LA's fashion crowd as well as lots of celebrities and even Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue. Click over to Racked for a gallery of private snaps from the bash.
