We first toured the Beverly West, the 22 story tower on the Wilshire Corridor owned by Emaar Properties (the Dubai firm behind the Burj Khalifa), back in the spring when it first opened, but the fully-customizable units were all looking rather pre-customized, so it was hard to get a feel for an actual finished condo. Last month, the BW thus unleashed five "designer-inspired" units, created by Lisa Garriss of Plum Design West and using furnishings from, respectively, Ralph Lauren (a scheme called Cityscape), James Perse (Malibu Loft), Christian Liaigre (Cal Contemporary), David Sutherland (LA Chic), and Armani Casa (Light Urban). Buyers can pick any one of these up with everything down to the books, or they can get tweaked versions (or, of course, create something entirely new). The BW has 35 units in all ranging from 1,700 to 8,215 square feet and from $1.5 million to $22.4 million. The building also has a pool, a boardroom, a fitness center, a valet, 24-hour staff, and a full concierge. Tour the models up above.
