Here's one for all the Hopper-heads and Gehry geeks out there--a chance to live on the former Dennis Hopper compound. As you may recall, after languishing on the market for almost two years, the five-building, one-third-acre compound finally sold this past August for an even $5 million. However, it appears that the new owner will have some assistance on the mortgage payments, as one of the compound's three Frank Gehry-designed loft spaces is now available for rent. According to a 2010 Vanity Fair story, the structures were nicknamed "the three little pigs"; one served as the late actor's office; another was occupied by his son, Henry; while the third is where Hopper's fifth wife, Victoria Duffy, decamped to with their young daughter following the couple's estrangement. Per the ad, the available unit is 1,330 square feet and features "30 foot ceilings on second level. High end kitchen. Concrete floors on first level, wood floors on second level," and a "private two car tandem garage." Monthly rent is $4,500.
