The Cold War-themed Wende Museum is moving out of a business park in Culver City and into a way better home: a 1950 National Guard armory near Culver and Overland. The Wende will renovate the space to display its awesome collection of "large busts of communist heroes, Stasi surveillance equipment, Eastern Bloc food menus, embroidered flags and furniture from the former East Berlin's now-demolished Palace of the Republic." Right now it's displaying less than one percent of its stuff. [LAT, image via]
