New, 20 comments

Last month, the market said bon voyage to William Kesling's Streamline Moderne Skinner House (final sale price: $1.25 million), and this week, it says bienvenue to the Machine Age architect's Collins House. Located around the corner from the Skinner House and a smattering of other Kesling-designed residences, the 2,029 square foot house was originally built in 1936, but, per the listing, "was expanded to include a 3rd-story office." Sited on a 5,387 square foot lot, it features two bedrooms, two baths, a den, living room with balcony, dining room, a curved magnesite staircase, hardwood and tile floors, built-ins, floor-to-ceiling windows, mountain and reservoir views, and an attached garage. Last sold in 1995 for $223,636, it's now listed at $1.199 million.
