Glendale's fancy Kenneth Road, a very popular Halloween destination, tried something new this year: it got the police to block off the street to non-locals and do some heavy patrolling. How'd that go? One resident who gave out 3,500 pieces of candy last year only gave out 1,000 this year and everyone said the vibe was a lot chiller. However, the GPD "did catch five Burbank teens carrying black ski masks and two cartons of a dozen eggs each in their bags." [Glendale News-Press]
