Local architect Richard Dorman designed some seriously fine mid-century modernism, but you don't hear his name thrown around nearly often enough. This specimen of his in Sherman Oaks has been worked over a disappointing amount, but has managed to hold onto a few nice details. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, glass walls, bamboo floors, all the fanciest kitchen stuff, a house-length deck, and some truly oddball finishes (the listing brags about the "extensive use of granite and marble"). Asking price is $999,000.
