Glassy Mid-Century in the Hollywood Hills Asking $1.179MM

New, 17 comments

In case you missed it, today's Variety reported that plans are underway to adapt the long-running single panel comic strip "Family Circus" into a live-action movie. We couldn't help but be reminded of this development while sifting through the photos for this new listing off Sunset Plaza, as the house's yard is festooned with numerous flagstones that make it look eerily reminiscent of Bil Keane's "dotted line" strips, wherein the rascally perambulations of young Billy or Jeffy are traced. Built in 1957, the 2,227 square foot modern features, per the listing, three bedrooms, three baths, walls of glass, beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, a screening room, spa, two decks, and "unobstructed head-on city to ocean views." Sited on a double-lot promontory, it's asking $1.179 million.
