Los Angeles has fallen in love with giant objects traveling through town--see the LACMA rock that landed on Michael Heizer's "Levitated Mass" installation and the recent space shuttle Endeavour trip. Now the Arts District is paying tribute with a big fake boulder on top of a little Radio Flyer wagon, helpfully marked "rock." We're guessing the piece, near Second and Alameda, is the work of papier-mâché and fake sign enthusiast Wild Life. [Melrose & Fairfax, image via]
