Via Architizer comes news that this rather lovely house in Calabasas, designed by Frank Gehry in 1981, is now on the market for the first time. Built for Loyola Law School professor Robert Benson and his family, the two-bedroom, three-bath residence is split down the middle by a small moat, and is "laden with exterior circulation elements--plywood decks, stairs, and sculptural railings," which "present a spatial sequence that recalls the logic of a Japanese garden." Calabasas Historical Landmark No. 2, the 1,719 square foot home is listed at $895,000.
