LEIMERT PARK: Since there are few greater pleasures in life than setting footage of slow-moving large-object street parades to ridiculous music, here is eight minutes of the space shuttle Endeavour's journey (from LAX to the California Science Center) sped up 800 percent and scored with "Yakety Sax" (aka that music from Benny Hill). The shuttle traveled at a top speed of two miles per hour and took 56 hours to get from point A to point B, so there's the joke. Hope you enjoy it, British people.
Meanwhile, if you like things just a little slower and easier, here is the same video at 400 percent speed set to MIA's "Paper Planes." [Curbed Staff]
