You don't see the phrase "pre-war" thrown around a lot in Los Angeles real estate, so this is fun--a proper old six-unit building in West Hollywood has gotten a makeover and is now going by the proper, old-sounding name The Haventon Apartments. According to a press release, they're also "now accepting new tenants for the first time in over decade." The Monterey Colonial-style building at (wait for it) Havenhurst Drive and Norton Avenue was built in 1938 and "has been fully renovated"; it has six two- and three-bedrooms, each with a private entrance and its own address. The units comes with a patio, balcony, or courtyard; washer/dryer; central AC; nine-foot ceilings; and built-ins. Naturally, with a name like The Haventon, it's gonna cost ya: two-bedrooms range from $3,500 to $4,500 a month; three-bedrooms range from $5,500 to $8,000. Here's a three-bedroom going for $5,500.
