Los Angeles is the wild, wild west of pot shops once again--the City Council made its final vote yesterday to repeal a weeks-old ban on marijuana dispensaries. The city has been letting the federal government do its dirty work of raiding the shops, but the Council will probably also consider yet another proposal that would allow about 100 dispensaries to stay open. Meanwhile, northwest Valley Councilmember Mitch Englander says he's rid his district of all the evil, drug-dealing dispensaries (seriously--he thinks they're selling stuff besides pot).
