Five Guys Coming to Westwood, Angeli Caffe and Drago SaMo Shuttering, Franklin Village Gastropub Opening

WESTWOOD: Well, lookey here, Westwood. First you get a fancy pizza joint and now Five Guys--the much-loved East Coast burger chain-- is moving in on Broxton. Keep it up.

FAIRFAX: Evan Kleiman of KCRW's Good Food program is closing her Angeli Caffe on Melrose. While a shutter was planned for Sunday, Kleiman has extended the restaurant's life a few more days.

SANTA MONICA: Another big closure: this time it's Drago, shuttering after 21 years of operation.

FRANKLIN VILLAGE: Oooh, a nice new pub called Franklin & Company has opened next to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. The handsome joint has a full liquor license and food including house-made bleu cheese tater tots, scotch eggs, ahi tuna tacos, and fried oysters Rockefeller.
