What's up with Ontario's efforts to wrest control of its airport back from Los Angeles World Airports, an LA city agency? Well, on Monday LAWA's board of commissioners' president "called for a resolution stating ONT will not be available for a transfer or sale for at least two years." And on Tuesday, two LA City Councilmembers "called for a study of how to return LA/Ontario International Airport to Ontario, appearing to side with Ontario in its bid to reclaim its troubled facility." Last week, it came out that Ontario has offered $50 million to cover any airport transfer costs. [Daily Bulletin]
