New MGM Building Goes Chinese, Juice on Venice, Blossom to Sunset Junction, Hollywood's Sadie Takes Over Les Deux Space

BEVERLY HILLS: Hakkasan, a fancy Chinese concept set to open at the MGM Grand in Vegas, is working some synergy by opening on the bottom-floor of the glassy new MGM building on Beverly Drive. No word yet on opening date.

VENICE: Is Rose becoming the new Abbot Kinney? The former is getting a hip new juicer, with Moon Juice opening on Monday. Plenty of drink options, including design-your-own varieties, as well as almond milk flavors like Vanilla Fig and Mint Chip.

SUNSET JUNCTION: Vietnamese restaurant Blossom is expanding from their location on Main in the Historic Core to a storefront on Sunset in the Junction. An opening is expected next month with the same menu.

HOLLYWOOD: Eater has devoted a lot of ink to Sadie, a new "civilized" restaurant on Las Palmas that replaces the former uncivilized Les Deux nightclub. The food is American, the interior is fetching, and the opening is on Tuesday.
