Morton's Founder's 1930s Paul Williams in Little Holmby

New, 6 comments

This Big Bad Wolf-proof residence was designed by Paul R. Williams in 1938. Located on a .39-acre lot a few blocks west of Holmby Park in Westwood, it features six bedrooms, seven and a half baths, an oblong entryway with curved doors and moldings, two woodburning fireplaces, a wood-paneled den, hardwood floors, and a heated pool with spa and changing room. PropertyShark shows the house belongs to the Hard Rock Cafe and Morton's (*the legendary, shuttered show business restaurant in West Hollywood, to clarify) founder Peter Morton. Asking price for the 5,533 square foot home is $4.75 million. And whoa, as we were going to print, the listing went "sale pending."
